The 'Deadly People' calendar

Posted on Tue 1 February 2011

The ‘Deadly People’ calendar is a joint project between the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service (VALS) and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission (VEOHRC). We wanted to create a collection of stories from ‘unsung heroes’ in the community.

Along with the deadly stories, the calendar is is special because it provides information about VALS and the commission – two important services available to the community. We are also proud that the calendar is Aboriginal-produced with artwork from emerging artist and student of Worawa Aboriginal College, Angelina Doolan; photographer James Henry; and design and layout by Reanna Bono from Deadly Designs.

To order a hard copy of this beautiful calendar, please contact: VALS Community Legal Education Officer, Loretta O'Neill: loneil@vals.org.au, 9419 3888 or alternatively VALS Research Officer, Louise Hicks, lhicks@vals.org.au, 9419 3888. To view the calendar electronically, please download the document attached.
